Therapy for Moms

If you are struggling with scary thoughts, isolation, anger, difficulty bonding with your baby, or are unable to enjoy parenting, you are not alone. Millions of women and birthing parents have experienced these issues and others like it.

Sometimes difficult memories of your past make it hard to be present with your kids or be the parent you want to be. I am here to work with you to take care of your mental health and guide you through life's challenges.

Michelle Cosley, LMHCA

As a mother of two, I love supporting parents and expectant parents in their journey and everything that comes up along the way. My style is warm and collaborative, and my focus is on helping you with your mental health goals. I am trained in a variety of modalities and have past experience as a crisis counselor and school counselor.

I strive to create a safe and welcoming space for diverse identities, backgrounds, and experiences that each client brings into the room, including those shaped by race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, ability, religion, body size, and cultural heritage.

I have sessions available both in person on Thursdays at Terrace View Counseling Collective in Mountlake Terrace, WA, and also online sessions available for anyone in Washington State. I offer a sliding scale fee in order to make therapy more accessible to those experiencing financial difficulties.
